Over the years, Hands Percussion continues to innovate the expression and application of our unique Malaysian cultural heritage. We experiment with this not only on stage but also through community outreach. Along the way, we have been blessed to witness again and again, how art education outreach has impacted communities by nurturing change and growth. We want to inspire and multiply the kinds of creative exploration that furthers learning and expression. HPA is a learning community with a variety of classes for creative and curious people, on topics ranging from cultural heritage to modern expression. To name a few, the classes include 24 Festive Drums, Handpan, Guzheng, Mak Yong, Mek Mulung, Kelantanese Gendang and more. At HPA, students come together to find inspiration and take the next step in their creative, or even professional journeys.
